Paula Storer

Paula has had a long career in front-line banking, providing financial services to the local community for over 35 years. At the heart of this role was her passion to provide support to people who sometimes needed a little extra help and patience. Together with strong admin skills and attention to detail and organisation, Paula had a successful and happy career. When Paula’s father became ill, she spent much of her spare time looking after him, even after he had to move into residential care she was still actively involved with his care. 

Paula felt that with her caring, friendly manner, she could really make a difference to people’s lives and decided to make the transition to the care sector. She is passionate that care should be person-centred not business-led, and it should encourage independence and promote a happy, fulfilled life. Paula feels that really getting to know your client creates a strong and trusting relationship. 

Her personal mantra is “Treat people how you would like to be treated yourself. Respect, dignity and a smile cost nothing but are greatly appreciated.” She began looking for a care provider who really shared her values and work ethic, and when she discovered Q Care Assist, she knew this was the only company she wanted to work with.

Paula has been actively involved supporting local charities by planning, organising, and promoting fundraising events within the local community. She also uses her hobby of making and selling wine-glass charms to raise money for charity.

Paula also loves baking cakes and loves to share them with the team, and her clients. She is also a big music fan and loves going to gigs and festivals.
