Support for Care Givers
Alzheimer's sadly is the most common cause of Dementia. Family members supporting someone with Dementia can be rewarding, but it can also be challenging. At Q Care Assist we offer our services on a voluntary basis helping the care giver at home, to relax for an hour so we can take care of the daily tasks that can sometimes get left behind because of the care that is being given to the family member with Dementia. We are always here for you and work to making a small difference in your life.
Giving Back
Sadly, some families loose their funding for having a regular carer. At Q Care Assist, we also donate our services on a voluntary basis to certain families within the community who have a loved one suffering from Dementia, as well as always helping to support the cause with fundraising whenever we can.

The UK has an ageing population. Age UK reported that 1 in 5 of us will live to be 100! Sadly, there are a lot of older people who feel like they have nobody to turn to, Q Care Assist donate their time by speaking and visiting the elderly. By working together, we can help change the world for the older generation by giving a little something back. Greatness is not what you have but what you give...
Where words leave, music begins...
Together with Music (TwM) is a partnership between Care England and Intergenerational Music Making (IMM). It aims set out to connect older people in the care sector, with the wider community, local schools, youth or community groups through music. Research has shown how people with dementia can connect through music when unable to do so through speech. Q Care Assist are avid supports of TwM in helping promote their campaign into the home care sector as well as implementing their research into our care plans.
